Critique: - (1) Pascoe’s Candidals the Fire Starter. A large class of puppies all at various stages of development. I am sure places will change, but this liver baby really pleased. Just 6mnths, nice size with growing still to do, a standard type with even spotting, correct front, pleasant head with spotty face, good feet and tail, he moved steadily. I am sure his owner will have fun with him BPD
(2) Rose’s Candidals Run Forest Run.
Liver litter brother to 1, and close up. Maybe a touch longer in back, clean outline and displaying easy showmanship for one so young. Well made with expressive head, good feet and movement.

The boys in the winning line up at LKA (below) Arson with Garry and Forest with Candy: -

1 Rose’s Candidals to Boldly Go JW. Very striking black spotted dog with excellent coat and spotting. He has very good bone with tight feet and a balanced depth of body and spring of rib to complete the picture. Moved with plenty of drive tracking correctly. I was pleased to award him the reserve challenge certificate.

Rose’s Candidals to Boldly Go. Boldly is the right word – this black and white has personality plus! A real sparkler which showed his heart out but which has all the other virtues needed at this level. Everything is in the right place – very good front, well-balanced body, good stifles. His movement is a delight to watch.

Judges Critique - Rose's Washakie Ocean Song by Candidals, very balanced, soundly made feminine bitch, excellent head, very nice bone & body, carried herself well on the move, very showy

Blackpool - Mrs S P Booth (Judge)

Graduate Bitch

Judges Critique - Rose’s Washakie Ocean Song by Candidals. Deep black spotting on clear white ground. A bitch with lovely ears & expression. Reachy neck, good shoulders & round bone, moved well

Paignton - Miss S Neath-Duggan (Judge)

Junior Bitch

Judges Critique - ROSE’S Washakie Idaho by Candidals
Very showy black spotted bitch in good condition, well bodied, with good bone, tight feet, level topline with correct tail set. Moved well.

Judge - Elaine Tillson

Judges Critique - Rose’s Candidals To Boldly Go Extremely happy b/w dog, Good pigment, dark eye. Well handled, moved ok

Judge - Lady McDonald Of Sleat

Judges Critique - Rose's Candidals to Boldy Go Showy black in great condition, lovely head good reach of neck and excellent topline. Moved with plenty of drive

Judge - Ernie Paterson

Judges Critique - Rose's Candidals To Boldly Go, strong well made black, stands over a lot of ground & gives the appearance of being oversized, on handling this is not the case. he is very elegant, has bold clear spotting & moves well. Needs firmer handling if he is to realise his potential

Rose's Washakie Ocean Song by Candidals, strong well made black. Would prefer shade more femininity but well balanced, bold clear spotting & sound on the move

Judge - Sue Wilkinson

Judges Critique - Rose Candidals To Boldly Go
15 month old black dog, handsome head, framed by nicely broken ears, strong neck, correct front , good bend of stifle, very exuberant showman who moved well

Judge - Sally-Ann Neath-Duggan

Judges Critique - CANDIDALS TO BOLDLY GO (MRS C N ROSE) I have admired this dog from the ring side on many occasions and it was a thrill to have the opportunity to go over him, he didn’t disappoint. A handsome looking dog with beautifully toned body with good clear black on white spotting. Plenty of bone and substance. Lovely head with dark eye, correct bite and well broken ears. My hands told me everything that I needed to know when going over his body, just needs to calm down on the move.

WASHAKIE IDAHO BY CANDIDALS (MRS C N ROSE) Showy black spotted bitch of correct size, lovely head with good dark pigment, well boned, another good mover.

Judge - Mrs Sue Booth

Rose’s Candidals to Boldly Go. Lovely outline, dense black spotting, dark eyes & pleasing expression, reachy neck & good shoulders. Strong quarters with well let down hocks & good bend of stifle. Rather too enthusiastic & not co-operating with his handler at the moment, should do well when he calms down.

Rose’s Washakie Idaho by Candidals. Much taller, rangier type but again very showy with deep black spotting. Good hind angulation & well let down hocks, moved well maintaining level topline & tail set.

Rose’s Washakie Ocean Song by Candidals. Quite a tall bitch but is well balanced & moved with drive. Deepest black spotting on clear white ground, lovely ears & expression. Good reach of neck, well laid shoulders & round bone, excellent bend of stifle & strong hindquarters.

Judge - Mrs K Goff-Leggett

Judges Critique - Rose's Candidals To Boldly Go, outstanding black spotting on shining coat, classy b/s, good eye colour, lovely neck, well laid back shoulders, liked overall balance, correct tailset, showed steady, looked impressive moving with lively sound action tracking correctly, so happy to show.
